The Autonomous Media Conference will take place in downtown Tucson, Arizona at the Mat Bevel
Institute, 530 North Stone Avenue, beginning at 9 a.m. on Thursday, October 3 and ending on Sunday,
October 6, 2002. The sliding-scale fees for this event are $25 to $50 per person for the entire event,
or $10 to $20 per day for those who cannot attend the full four days.
There is a $5 discount for those registering on or before September 15, making the sliding scale
$20 to $45 per person for the full event, or $5 to $15 per day.
Food Not Bombs have said that they will be serving free food at the conference, though we cannot guarantee
when or how often meals will be served.
It is not possible for those attending to sleep at the Bevel Institute, and because of the expected large number
of attendees, we cannot offer to put up all registrants. Our best advice is to come prepared to camp out, as
there are camping areas not too far distant (approximately 15 miles), and we will have a table set up at which
we’ll attempt to match out-of-towners with Tucson residents who are willing to host them.
